Job summary

Method Resourcing is seeking a Platform Engineer to join its engineering team in the UK. The role focuses on building and securing a modern AWS-based platform, improving reliability, automation and governance across cloud infrastructure.

You will drive IaC, CI/CD, and security best practices while collaborating with cross-functional teams to evolve the platform and support scalable delivery of digital campaigns for leading brands.

Qualifications

• Experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps or Cloud Engineering.
• Strong AWS experience with EC2, IAM, S3, CloudFront and networking.
• Proficient with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform or Serverless Framework).
• Experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of cloud security, identity management and governance.

Responsibilities

• Building, maintaining and improving AWS-hosted platform infrastructure.
• Supporting Infrastructure-as-Code initiatives using Terraform and Serverless Framework.
• Driving automation and DevOps best practices across development and operations teams.
• Developing and improving CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
• Strengthening platform security, IAM controls and governance standards.
• Supporting cloud migration activity, infrastructure improvements and platform modernisation.
• Enhancing monitoring, logging, alerting and observability capabilities.
• Working closely with engineering, security and product teams to deliver platform improvements.
• Supporting API services, backend platform components and operational readiness activities.
• Contributing to platform reliability, scalability and long-term technical strategy.
