Job summary

System C is seeking a Platform Engineer to design, build and support our internal developer platform. You’ll automate infrastructure-as-code, enhance CI/CD pipelines, and enable teams to deliver reliable software with security and performance as priorities.

You’ll work with .NET and PowerShell, in a DevOps environment on Azure, integrating Docker/Kubernetes and secure development practices. Hybrid work model with office days and remote collaboration options offered.

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering with .NET and/or PowerShell.
• Experience in Agile and DevOps environments.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure.
• Designing secure, compliant cloud infrastructure.
• Infrastructure-as-code using Bicep, ARM Templates, Terraform or similar.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiar with GitHub, Azure DevOps, TeamCity, Jenkins or Octopus Deploy.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of SQL Server and NoSQL like Cosmos DB or RavenDB.
• Exposure to secure development practices including SAST and vulnerability scanning.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and support our internal developer platform.
• Develop and improve infrastructure-as-code to create repeatable environments.
• Maintain and enhance CI/CD tooling and build automation frameworks.
• Support deployment automation and reliable production releases.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve scalability, performance, security and reliability.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve developer experience.
• Champion cloud engineering best practices, security and operational excellence.
