Motion Applied are seeking a Platform Engineer to guide and foster innovation by developing the CI platform for leading-edge products. You will work with cross-functional teams to build secure, scalable, and standardised infrastructure and internal developer platforms.

You will contribute to implementing security governance, leveraging open‑source solutions, and ensuring best practices across the software lifecycle in a hybrid Woking office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years with large cloud providers; AWS preferred.
• Proficiency with IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, SaltStack).
• 3+ years with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm.
• Strong programming skills in Go, Python, C/C++, Java, or Rust.
• Solid DevOps, CI/CD, and Git usage.
• Willingness to learn additional languages as needed.
• Experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
• English proficiency, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Lead on implementing Motion Applied security governance across products and platform.
• Build and improve Motion Applied Fleet Connect cloud infrastructure.
• Leverage open-source software to extend capabilities for customers.
• Champion architectural and technical good practice across teams.
