Job summary

SailPoint is hiring a Software Engineer for the Platform Engineering team in the UK. You will design, build, and operate mission-critical platform services that enable policy decisions across millions of identities.

Expect to write high-performance Golang code, develop full-stack features with Angular, and implement resilient microservices on AWS. You will join a collaborative team with quarterly in-person offsites and a focus on scale and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 2+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proven backend development experience with Golang building scalable microservices and SaaS solutions.
• Frontend experience with Angular or modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks.
• Strong understanding of automated testing practices and debugging proficiencies.
• Familiarity with AWS and distributed cloud data stores (DynamoDB, Aurora, Snowflake).
• Experience with CI/CD tools and pipelines such as Jenkins or CloudBees.
• Ability to participate in a scheduled 24x7 on-call support rotation.

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and run mission-critical platform services enabling policy decisions.
• Write high-performance Golang code and robust full-stack features with Angular frontend.
• Collaborate with data scientists on AI-driven features and optimize cloud architectures for low latency.
• Participate in on-call rotations and drive CI/CD improvements.
