Job summary

SailPoint in the United Kingdom is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to architect, build, and deliver high-performance cloud services that power the identity platform. You will design resilient, full-stack solutions using Golang and Angular, and drive microservices and AI-assisted workflows across the team.

You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and peers to translate complex identities concepts into secure production systems while mentoring others and advancing architectural

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proven backend microservice design and development, preferably using Golang.
• Strong experience developing modern web frontends, preferably using Angular.
• Solid foundation in automated testing and debugging, including unit, integration, and performance profiling tools.
• Experience designing and maintaining scalable microservices within a distributed SaaS cloud environment.
• Excellent collaboration, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build high-performance cloud services powering SailPoint's identity platform.
• Design resilient full-stack solutions using Golang and Angular.
• Mentor peers and drive architectural excellence across the codebase.
• Participate in architecture reviews and performance profiling, and contribute to on-call rotations.
