Job summary

Leonardo UK is seeking a Platform Engineer to help shape, build and operate the infrastructure and services that underpin our engineering platform, from requirements and design through to deployment, support and continuous improvement.

This permanent, hybrid Edinburgh role offers exposure to cloud platforms, container orchestration, infrastructure as code and automation, with opportunities to lead core tooling and mentor others while delivering secure, scalable systems.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Platform Engineer-type role with cloud and containers.
• Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code and scripting.
• Linux/servers administration and design of scalable systems.

Responsibilities

• Own core development tools and infrastructure, including compute and hosting platforms.
• Improve reliability, observability and promote best practices across engineering teams.
