Job summary

Faculty is seeking a Platform Engineer to design and optimise cloud platform infrastructure across multi-environment setups, taking ownership of security controls and deployment automation.

You will collaborate with Software and ML teams to ensure production readiness, build scalable IaC, and mentor engineers. Some on-site work with clients in the UK may be required as projects demand.

Qualifications

• You design cloud platform infrastructure across multi-environment setups with security controls.
• Create and manage scalable Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for client environments.
• You're proficient with Kubernetes and container orchestration to ensure high availability and efficiency.
• You implement monitoring, logging, and alerting to keep production systems healthy.
• You manage production environments and incident response with root-cause analysis.
• You collaborate with Software and ML engineers for production-ready applications.
• You mentor engineers through peer reviews and sharing engineering best practices.

Responsibilities
