DataVita is a next-generation cloud and infrastructure company operating from Tier III-certified data centres in Scotland. We seek an infrastructure generalist to work across virtualization, storage, networking and automation in a live production environment.

You’ll deliver customer and internal projects end-to-end, learn new technologies, and help shape our AI and HPC platform from the ground up.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience across virtualization, storage, networking and backup.
• Ability to learn new tech and build labs to validate concepts.
• Strong communication to explain technical detail to non-technical colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and support virtualization, compute, storage, network and backup infra.
• Deliver customer and internal projects end-to-end from scoping to handover.
• Automate build and configuration tasks to improve efficiency.
• Contribute to DataVita's future cloud and HPC platform architecture.
• Troubleshoot cross-domain issues from switch to application.
• Produce clear documentation and as-built records.
• Provide escalation support to colleagues.
