Genomics England is hiring a Platform Engineer to design, build and optimise its AWS cloud platform using modern automation and infrastructure tooling. The role sits in the Cloud Platform Team and focuses on scalable, secure, and reliable platforms across the organization.

You will own and enhance cloud infrastructure, implement IaC with Terraform, and contribute to the engineering enablement program while mentoring teams in cloud best practices.

Qualifikationen

• 2+ years as Platform/Cloud/DevOps engineer in a DevOps setting.
• Strong AWS experience with Terraform for infrastructure automation.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tooling (GitLab CI/CD preferred).

Aufgaben

• Collaborate with DevOps to drive automation and continuous improvement.
• Maintain and enhance cloud infrastructure on AWS with IaC (Terraform).
• Develop and optimise CI/CD pipelines and governance practices.
