Octopus Money is seeking a DevOps Engineer to own and evolve the AWS platform that powers our customer-facing products. You’ll write Terraform modules, review infra PRs, run plans in GitHub Actions, and implement changes through Terramate across dev, staging and production accounts.

You’ll work on IAM, networking, container services, observability and CI/CD pipelines while ensuring security, least privilege, and auditable changes as part of our ISO 27001 program.

Formación

• Three or more years running production infrastructure on AWS with ownership of a multi-account estate.
• Strong Terraform: reusable modules, state and provider lifecycles, read a plan.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build and maintain reusable Terraform modules for AWS services and wire them into Terramate stacks.
• Onboard new backend services onto the ECS platform with proper IAM, routing, autoscaling and observability.
• Own the change pipeline: PR-based Terraform plans in GitHub Actions and controlled applies to staging and production.
• Review infra PRs for correctness, least privilege IAM, correct secret references, and module conventions.
• Run and improve security tooling: GuardDuty, Security Hub, IAM Access Analyzer, AWS Config, key rotation, WAF rules.
• Build and tune observability: CloudWatch dashboards/alarms, New Relic alerts, Slack notifications.
• Maintain data platform plumbing: RDS Postgres backups, DynamoDB exports, S3 replication, DMS ingestion.
• Support developer productivity: ephemeral environments, previews, and automation scripts.
• Manage third-party integrations as code: Cloudflare, New Relic, SFTP transfers, Slack, email delivery.
• Investigate drift and incidents via read-only access and PR-driven fixes.
• Keep docs and runbooks current for stack handover.
• Deliver ISO 27001 controls as code and provide audit evidence.
• Support external pentests end to end: scoped access, triage findings, remediation, retest.
• Administer IAM Identity Center: permission sets, access reviews, and MFA scopes.
• Monitor costs and optimize spend on new workloads.
