Octopus Money is seeking a hands-on DevOps Engineer to own and evolve the AWS platform that powers customer-facing products. You will write Terraform modules, review infrastructure PRs, run GitHub Actions plans, and implement secure, auditable changes across multi-tenant accounts.

You will join a small platform team, manage IAM, networking, container services, observability and CI/CD pipelines, with ISO 27001 compliance and external pentest support built into daily work.

Qualifications

• Three+ years running production infrastructure on AWS with multi-account estate.
• Strong Terraform skills with reusable modules and state management.
• In-depth IAM knowledge: trust policies, OIDC, boundaries.
• Experience running containers in production (ECS) with LB, autoscaling.
• CI/CD with GitHub Actions and no manual console edits.
• Operational experience with relational and NoSQL databases and backups.
• Security-first mindset with least privilege and auditable changes.
• ISO 27001 or SOC 2 programme involvement and evidence delivery.
• Experience working with external penetration testers.

Responsabilités

• Design, build and maintain reusable Terraform modules for AWS services.
• Onboard new backend services onto the ECS platform with proper IAM and networking.
• Own the change pipeline: Terraform plans in GitHub Actions, Terramate runs.
• Review infrastructure PRs for correctness and least-privilege IAM.
• Run and improve security tooling and observability dashboards.
• Maintain data platform plumbing and backups.
• Support developer productivity with ephemeral test environments.
• Administer vendor integrations and audit evidence for ISO 27001.
