Job summary

VOIS is seeking a Platform Architect to provide architectural leadership across telecom and digital platform domains. You will guide product owners, engineers and stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable, secure platform architectures that are cloud-native and API-first.

The role requires 8+ years in solution or platform architecture, with strong experience in distributed systems, governance and engineering practices. Hybrid work from Newbury or Paddington is offered.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in solution/platform architecture or complex software engineering environments.
• Proven design and delivery of cloud-native, API-first, distributed systems.
• Strong communication and collaboration across technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide architectural leadership across platform domains.
• Support multiple squads with solution design and architecture guidance.
• Define solution architectures and API specifications for platform capabilities.
• Translate business requirements into scalable, secure designs.
• Produce architecture artefacts and technical documentation.
• Champion cloud-native and event-driven architecture approaches.
