Job summary

Vodafone VOIS is seeking a Platform Architect to provide architectural leadership across telecommunications platform domains. You will translate business needs into scalable architectures, guide multiple squads, and produce artefacts, API specs and domain models for reusable, secure platform capabilities.

The role emphasizes cloud-native, API-first, event-driven approaches, with collaboration across product, engineering and architecture teams to modernise platforms and reduce technical debt.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in solution/ platform architecture and complex software engineering environments.
• 8+ years of delivery experience in architecture or platform domains.
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into scalable, secure designs.
• Expertise in cloud-native, API-first and distributed systems.
• Strong stakeholder management across tech and business teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide architectural leadership and domain expertise across platform domains.
• Support multiple squads with solution design and implementation guidance.
• Define solution architectures, domain models, and architecture artefacts.
• Translate business requirements into secure, scalable designs.
• Produce API specifications and technical documentation for platforms.
• Champion cloud-native and event-driven architectures across teams.
