Job summary

VOIS in the United Kingdom seeks a Cloud Infrastructure & Developer Platform Lead to provide technical leadership for our cloud infrastructure and internal developer platform capabilities. This role combines hands-on engineering with platform ownership, enabling reliable, secure and AI-native software delivery across multiple engineering teams.

You will collaborate with cloud architects, platform leads, security specialists and engineers to translate architecture into practical platform

Qualifications

• Lead cloud infrastructure and platform engineering within a domain.
• Strong hands-on expertise in infrastructure-as-code and automation.
• Experience building or operating internal developer platforms (IDPs).
• Knowledge of cloud-native infrastructure, networking and platform engineering principles.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, observability and cloud security.

Responsibilities

• Lead cloud infrastructure and internal developer platform engineering within a platform capability or engineering domain.
• Design, build and operate cloud infrastructure and internal developer platform capabilities; deliver self-service platform features to boost productivity.
• Own infrastructure-as-code, automated provisioning and platform automation across environments.
• Translate cloud architecture strategies into implementation plans and roadmaps; drive reliability and security.
