Job summary

A leading engineering services provider is seeking a Plater for a major LNG plant in the Isle of Grain, Rochester, UK. The successful candidate will use oxyacetylene burning equipment to remove plate sections, mark and cut steel plate, perform repairs, and execute MMA welding on mild steel. Candidates must hold a CCNSG or CSCS card and have experience in industrial sites such as power stations or steelworks. The role involves working 10 hours a day, Monday to Friday, with additional hours on Saturdays.

Qualifications

• CCNSG card/CSCS Card is required.
• Experience working on industrial sites such as power stations, refineries, or steelworks.

Responsibilities

• Use oxyacetylene burning equipment to remove sections of plate.
• Set out, mark, and cut steel plate.
• Carry out repairs on plate, pipe, channel, and brackets.
• Perform MMA welding on mild steel plate.

The Role

• Using oxyacetylene burning equipment to remove sections of plate
• Setting out, marking and cutting steel plate
• Plate, pipe, channel and bracket repairs
• MMA welding on mild steel plate
