Job summary

A leading engineering recruitment service in the UK is seeking Platers for maintenance work on a cement plant. Ideal candidates will assist with the removal of conveyor systems and use oxyacetylene equipment for cutting steel plates. Applicants should possess a CCNSG card, and an IPAF card is advantageous. Experience in the heavy engineering sector, including Cement, Power, and Renewables, is also required. This role offers day shifts with the possibility of night shifts.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Overview

Shifts: 10hr Day shifts, 13 on 1 off (some Night shifts available)

The Role

Integrate Engineering Resources are currently recruiting for Platers for maintenance work on a cement plant. Duties will include assisting with the removal of an existing conveyor systems on site and will include using oxyacetylene burning equipment to remove sections of plate, setting out, marking and cutting steel plate. Additional duties will include using hand tools and assisting mechanical trades with the removal of mechanical equipment of mechanical equipment.

Requirements

• CCNSG card
• IPAF card an advantage
• Previous experience in the heavy engineering industry; Cement, Power, O&G, Petrochemical, Renewables etc.
