Job summary

A leading engineering recruitment firm is seeking Platers for power station shutdowns in Connah's Quay and Hull. The ideal candidate will have a CCNSG card and relevant qualifications such as NVQ or City & Guilds. Responsibilities include welding and plate repairs using various methods. Qualifications

• Must hold a CCNSG card.
• Relevant NVQ / City & Guilds or an Apprenticeship is necessary.
• Experience with heavy industrial sites is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform plate repairs and conduct welding on steel plate.
• Use oxyacetylene equipment to remove sections of plate.
• Set out, mark, and cut steel plates.
• Repair plates, pipes, channels, and brackets.

Over 38 Hrs Mon-Fri and Sat am: £26.75/hr

Responsibilities

The Role: Integrate Engineering are recruiting for additional Platers on behalf of our client for power station shutdowns in Connahs Quay, Isle of Grain and Hull. The work will involve plate repairs and welding on existing steel plate and channel. Duties will include:

• Using oxyacetylene burning equipment to remove sections of plate
• Setting out, marking and cutting steel plate
• Plate, pipe, channel and bracket repairs
• Any MMA, FCAW and MAGS welding experience an advantage
