Job summary

Mears Group PLC is seeking an experienced Plasterer to join our Coatbridge team, delivering high-quality repairs across occupied homes in North Lanarkshire. You will work independently, manage your workload, and ensure work complies with safety and quality standards.

The role offers a permanent, full-time contract (40 hours/week, Monday–Friday, 8am–4:30pm) with a company van and fuel card. Strong customer service is essential to success in this position.

Qualifications

• Proven plastering experience in occupied properties.
• Experience with rough casting and finishing plaster works.
• Multi-trade capability with related trades.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Ability to work independently in occupied properties.
• Strong commitment to customer service, quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Repairs in occupied properties to agreed standards.
• General plaster work and plaster finishings.
• Partition building and rough casting works.
• Carry out plaster repairs and refurbishment within timescales.
• Fault finding and maintenance with emphasis on first-time completion.
• Maintain excellent customer service with users and stakeholders.
• Use handheld technology to manage work records and compliance.
• Maintain company vehicles, equipment and materials per procedures.
