Job summary

Timberwise is seeking a Plasterer to join our South West team in the Truro area. You will render and skim after DPC treatments, dot and dab finishing, and multi coat render systems, with occasional joinery and waterproofing tasks.

The ideal candidate will have proven plastering skills, be proactive, reliable and capable of planning their own workload, while working as part of a supportive team. Full training available and CSCS is required.

Qualifications

• Proven plastering skills with efficiency and quality.
• Proactive and self-motivated with ability to plan and manage workload.
• Team player and self-starter.
• Strong communication skills.
• Enthusiastic and take pride in your work.
• Previous experience in preservation industry desirable but full training will be provided.
• CSCS card holder.

The Role

Due to our growing business, we are looking to increase our team of Plasterers throughout the South West and specifically in the Truro area; there will be a need to travel throughout the region.

As a Plasterer your role will include:

• Rendering and skimming post DPC treatments
• Dot and Dab finishing
• Boarding and skimming
• Multi coat render systems
• Some joinery experience is desirable
• Some experience with waterproofing/membrane systems is desirable

We are looking for someone in the South West who has:

• Proven skills in Plastering

Hours of work are 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday with occasional out of hours and weekend work, for which overtime is paid.
