Job summary

Timberwise is seeking an experienced plasterer to join our South West team, covering the Bodmin area with travel to surrounding regions. You will perform rendering, skimming, dot-and-dab finishing, and multi-coat render systems, with some joinery and waterproofing tasks potentially involved.

We value proactive self-starters with strong communication and teamwork skills, and training will be provided for preservation-related work. A CSCS card is preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven skills in plastering.
• CSCS card holder required or willing to obtain.
• Able to work as part of a team and on own initiative.

Due to our growing business, we are looking to increase our team of Plasterers throughout the UK and specifically in the Bodmin area; there will be a need to travel throughout the region.

The Role

Due to our growing business, we are looking to increase our team of Plasterers throughout the South West and specifically in the Bodmin area; there will be a need to travel throughout the region.

As a Plasterer your role will include:

• Rendering and skimming post DPC treatments
• Dot and Dab finishing
• Boarding and skimming
• Multi coat render systems
• Some joinery experience is desirable
• Some experience with waterproofing/membrane systems is desirable

We are looking for someone in the South West who has:

• Proven skills in Plastering
• A proactive and self-motivated approach with the ability to plan and manage their own workload.
• A team player and Self starter
• Strong communication skills
• Enthusiastic and take pride in your work
• Previous experience in the preservation industry is desirable but full training will be provided.
• CSCS card holder

Hours of work are 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday with occasional out of hours and weekend work, for which overtime is paid.
