Job summary

Timberwise (UK) Ltd is expanding its team of Property Care Technicians across the UK, with travel within the Truro area. The role involves damp and timber treatments, waterproofing, plastering, and customer-facing project work.

Ideal candidates will have plastering/joinery skills, a CSCS card, and NVQ Level 2 or equivalent. Training will be provided for preservation tasks, and a proactive, reliable attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven skills in plastering and/or joinery.
• A proactive and self-motivated approach with the ability to plan and manage their own workload.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A valid CSCS card.
• NVQ Level 2 qualification (or equivalent).
• Previous experience in the preservation industry is desirable but full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Conduct damp and timber treatments including dry rot, woodworm, and damp proofing.
• Carry out waterproofing installations and associated first and second fix joinery work.
• Complete general plastering tasks as required.
• Ensure all works are completed to the highest standard, safely and efficiently.
• Maintain excellent customer service and represent the Timberwise brand professionally on every project.

The Role

As part of our continued growth, we are looking to expand our team of Property Care Technicians across the UK. You will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of property preservation and repair works, with travel required within the Truro area.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct damp and timber treatments including dry rot, woodworm, and damp proofing.


• Carry out waterproofing installations and associated first and second fix joinery work.

Working Hours And Benefits

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (with occasional out-of-hours or weekend work paid as overtime)

Salary: Competitive, based on experience and skill level

Benefits Include

• Competitive salary with monthly bonus scheme and overtime available. OTE £40k. Basic is £30k (dependent on experience)
