Job summary

Daniel Owen Ltd is recruiting an experienced Plasterer for social housing repairs and maintenance across occupied and void properties. You will undertake internal and external plastering, rendering, patch repairs and making-good works to a high standard with care for residents’ homes.

The role requires NVQ Level 2/3 in Plastering, proven plastering experience in repairs, a UK driving licence, and DBS clearance.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 / City & Guilds in Plastering, or equivalent.
• Proven plastering experience in repairs and maintenance.
• Experience in patch plastering, bonding and skimming.
• Experience making good after other trades, within occupied properties.
• Full UK driving licence with up to six points.
• Asbestos Awareness certification.
• CSCS card preferred.
• DBS clearance, or willingness to undergo checks.

Responsibilities

• Carry out internal and external plastering and rendering repairs.
• Plaster repairs to walls, ceilings and other internal surfaces.
• Patch plastering, bonding, skimming and associated preparations.
• Make-good works after other trades and maintenance activities.
• Prepare surfaces before applying plaster and finishing materials.
• Repair damaged plasterwork to a high standard.
• Maintain clean, professional finishes.
• Record works and materials using a mobile/PDA system.
• Work with other trades and repairs team to complete jobs on time.
