The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out high-quality internal and external plastering, rendering, patch repairs and making‑good works across a mixture of occupied and void residential properties. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Plasterer looking for a stable, long‑term position with an established organisation that places a strong emphasis on quality workmanship, customer service, training and internal progression.
As a Plasterer, you will undertake a varied programme of repairs and maintenance works across residential properties, ensuring that all work is completed to a high standard and provides a durable, professional finish. You will work within both occupied homes and void properties, meaning you will need to combine strong technical ability with a professional and respectful approach when dealing with residents.
The role will involve everything from smaller patch repairs and making‑good works through to larger plastering and rendering requirements. You will be expected to take ownership of your jobs, complete works efficiently and aim to achieve a first‑time fix wherever possible. You will also work alongside other trades and the wider repairs team, often carrying out making‑good works following plumbing, electrical or other maintenance activities.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Plasterer with a background in repairs, maintenance, social housing, property services or a similar residential environment. You will take genuine pride in your workmanship and be capable of producing clean, smooth and durable finishes across a variety of plastering and repair requirements.
As you will regularly work within occupied homes, you will also need to demonstrate a professional and customer‑focused approach. You should be comfortable communicating with residents, explaining works where appropriate and treating people's homes with care and respect.
