Job summary

Together Housing Group is seeking a Plasterer to join the Responsive Repairs team in Calderdale. You will perform plastering repairs to tenanted properties, aiming to complete work in one visit with high quality workmanship and adherence to Building Regulations.

The role requires a full UK driving license and a City & Guilds Advanced Craft or NVQ Level 2 in plastering or higher. You will work 37 hours per week with a starting salary of £33,758 and a range of benefits including holiday

Qualifications

• Full manual UK driving license required.
• Experience in plastering across tenanted properties.
• Literacy and numeracy skills to complete tickets and timesheets.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and its application to repairs.

Responsibilities

• Carry out plastering repairs to tenanted properties in line with tickets and specifications.
• Aim for Right First Time by completing repairs in one visit where possible.
• Keep required records (paper or electronic).
• Measure quantities and procure materials as needed.
• Protect tenants and belongings, keep areas tidy, and communicate professionally with customers.
• Carry out risk assessments prior to starting work to ensure health and safety of all parties.
