Job summary
Together Housing Group is seeking a Plasterer to join our Responsive Repairs team in the Pendle district, covering Colne, Brierfield, Nelson and Barnoldswick. You will carry out plastering repairs to tenanted properties, aiming for first-time fixes and high workmanship within agreed timescales.
The role offers a starting salary of £33,758, 37 hours per week, flexible working patterns, a company van for personal use, and a range of benefits including holidays rising to 32 days and family-friendly
Qualifications
- Full manual UK driving licence.
- City and Guilds Advanced Craft Certificate in plastering or NVQ Level2 or higher (Desirable).
- Experience of plastering and related building disciplines with a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
- Literacy and numeracy to accurately complete tickets and time sheets.
- Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation in repairs work.
Responsibilities
- Carry out plastering repairs to tenanted properties in line with tickets, slots, specs and drawings.
- Aim to complete repairs in one visit with right-first-time workmanship.
- Keep required records (paper or electronic).
- Measure and quantify materials and procurement.
- Protect tenants' belongings and maintain a courteous, safe service for customers.
