Job summary

Together Housing Group is seeking a Plasterer to join our Responsive Repairs team in Calderdale. You will perform plastering repairs to tenanted properties, aiming for first-time quality and completing tasks within agreed timescales.

The role requires a full UK driving licence and relevant plastering qualifications; experience across building trades is beneficial. We offer a competitive starting salary, generous holiday and a flexible working environment.

Qualifications

• Full manual UK driving licence required.
• City and Guilds Advanced Craft Certificate in plastering or NVQ Level 2+ desirable.
• Experience in plastering repairs and related building trades.
• Commitment to high-quality workmanship and customer care.
• Good literacy and numeracy for tickets and time sheets.
• Awareness of health and safety legislation.

Responsibilities

• Carry out plastering repairs to tenanted properties in line with tickets and drawings.
• Aim for right-first-time repairs, ideally completed in one visit with quality workmanship.
• Maintain records, measure quantities and procure materials as needed.
• Protect tenants' furniture, maintain cleanliness and liaise with customers courteously.
• Perform risk assessments prior to work and ensure health and safety for all.
