Job summary

The Geotechnical Sub Alliance (GSA) is at the forefront of the Sizewell C nuclear power station development—a major UK infrastructure programme. We’re responsible for preparing foundations and support systems across the site.

To manage the day-to-day plant administrative duties and assist with site requests, you'll help maintain asset and damage registers, coordinate with the Plant Coordination Manager, and obtain supplier quotations.

Qualifications

• CSCS Card required; joint venture can provide.
• Clear focus on quality across tasks and processes.
• Knowledge of the plant/asset hire industry.
• Demonstrates drive and ambition to improve sites.
• Able to communicate effectively with people at all levels.
• Able to engage with site personnel and build relationships.
• Good prioritisation skills and ability to manage competing tasks.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety in a construction environment.
• Experience delivering best practices in plant and equipment safety.

Responsibilities

• Play an active part in improving Plant Yard processes and general workflows.
• Assist with maintaining the Asset Register.
• Assist with the maintenance of the Damage Register.
• Help processing site requests.
• Process site queries and transport bookings with the Plant Coordination Manager.
• Obtain quotations from suppliers for plant and equipment.
• Collect weekly plant inspection forms, delivery inspection forms and PUWER logs.
• Assist with capturing NRMM data from all sites.
• Support stock taking and re-orders with Plant Yard Stores Person.
• Manage stationery for the Plant Yard Office.
• Oversee welfare consumables for the Plant Yard.
• Carry out other admin duties related to plant and equipment.
