Job summary

Tarmac Coleford Concrete Plant is seeking a Plant Supervisor to lead RMX operations, ensuring safety and quality while meeting customer needs. You will work with the Production Manager and distribution teams, coordinating batching, deliveries, and contractor activities.

The role emphasizes hands-on plant management, adherence to policies, and continuous improvement, with opportunities for training and professional growth within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Experience in plant operations preferred in Ready Mix/Aggregates, but hands-on manufacturing experience is also welcomed.
• Actively identify and implement site and process improvements.
• Be flexible and adapt to ensure delivery of customer requirements and workload priorities.

Responsibilities

• Supporting RMX Production Manager in plant compliance with policies and procedures.
• Batching concrete to meet customer needs while meeting quality requirements.
• Coordination with Readymix Distribution Teams to ensure deliveries.
• Supervise contractors (no direct reports) and ensure safety compliance.
• Oversee daily production, costs, and stock control.
