Job summary

Quint Construction Services is seeking an experienced mechanical engineer to lead a small team of maintenance engineers and oversee daily operations on-site in Sutton.

You will balance hands-on technical work with team leadership, manage plant room servicing, and ensure CAFM-based task tracking and safety compliance.

Standard hours are 8:00–17:00, with one weekend per month, and a pension scheme plus ongoing development opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing.
• Proven supervisory/leadership experience in building services or facilities management.
• Solid plant room knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
• Proficient with CAFM systems for daily tasks.
• Willingness to lead by example and work hands-on when required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of around 5 maintenance engineers.
• Provide hands-on support to complex tasks as needed.
• Oversee plant room operations and fault-finding.
• Utilize CAFM to log work orders and track progress.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
