Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is hiring a Senior Maintenance Manager to support the Assistant Contract Manager and lead the Engineering Team delivering Hard FM services across the PFI contract covering 8 School sites across the region. You will ensure compliance through audits, manage CAFM updates, and coordinate on-call rotas, subcontractors and maintenance delivery to meet KPIs and billing.

The role emphasizes staff development, CPDs, HR matters, and training to uphold H&S standards and effective client

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of managerial or acting manager experience in building maintenance or facilities management.
• Previous trade training in M&E and experience essential.
• Ability to manage teams, CPDs, HR matters, and contractor coordination.
• Willingness to cover on-call rotations and travel to sites.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance through planned audits, inspections and testing of sites.
• Manage CAFM system and keep records up to date.
• Lead and organise maintenance team and subcontractors.
• Attend client meetings and monthly site meetings with the client.
• Produce monthly reports for SAM support and KPI progress.
