Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a site maintenance technician to keep plant and machinery across the site available and reliable. You will proactively reduce downtime through due diligence, perform planned and reactive maintenance, and coordinate with production supervision to maintain smooth operations.

The role supports continuous improvement, safety audits, SOP reviews, and investigations, and may involve working at other Bridon sites as required.

Qualifications

• Understanding machinery and mechanical systems.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues.
• Proficiency in developing and executing maintenance schedules.
• Reading and interpreting mechanical schematics.
• Experience with hand and power tools for repairs.
• Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
• Ability to use CMMS.

Responsibilities

• Ensure plant and machinery across the site are available and reliable.
• Proactively reduce plant downtime through due diligence.
• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance.
• Coordinate with production supervision to ensure smooth running and availability of plant and equipment.
• Support continuous improvement projects and sustain best operational practices.
• Coordinate health and safety audits and assist with SOP reviews.
• Help reduce functional accident statistics.
• Carry out assigned project work to schedule.
• Participate in quality and accident/incident investigations.
• Work at other Bridon sites when required.
