Job summary

Amazon UK Services Ltd. is seeking a Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technician to maintain a wide range of site equipment and uphold safety standards at our UK distribution centres.

The role emphasizes proactive maintenance, fault diagnosis, and contributing to a safe, efficient operation. You will work on continuous improvement projects, support on-site apprentices, and operate with the latest tools to maximise equipment effectiveness, all while ensuring compliance with health and safety

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics
• Served an engineering indentured apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 in a relevant subject
• Relevant experience as a qualified engineer
• Experience in mechanical and/or electrical maintenance
• Advanced proficiency in the local language verbally and in writing

Responsibilities

• Proactive and preventative maintenance tasks on a wide range of site equipment
• Carry out reactive repairs and fault diagnosis in a live distribution warehouse
• Use the latest tools to maximise equipment effectiveness
• Uphold all health and safety policies and practices
• Support the development and progression of on-site apprentices
• Work on continuous improvement projects and roll out best practices across a range of EU sites
