Job summary

Etex in Bristol is seeking a Plant Process Manager to lead the Process and Quality Engineering team, drive continuous improvement, and optimise manufacturing performance across the site.

You will champion safety, quality, and environmental standards, apply Lean/Six Sigma practices, analyse production data, manage trials, and deliver measurable cost and energy efficiency gains for the plant.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Chemistry, Industrial Technology or related discipline.
• Proven leadership experience in manufacturing/heavy industry with team development.
• Experience driving process improvement, CI, cost reduction and performance optimisation.
• Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma or other CI methodologies.
• Strong safety, quality and environmental standards awareness.
• Experience analysing production data and leading improvement projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop the Process and Quality Engineering team to build a high-performing culture.
• Drive CI initiatives to improve quality, efficiency, cost and energy performance.
• Lead root cause analysis and problem-solving to resolve process and quality issues.
• Monitor process performance, analyse production data and identify improvement opportunities.
• Manage process trials with proper planning, documentation and evaluation.
• Support local and group manufacturing strategies and improvement projects.
• Maintain process standards, documentation and databases.
• Provide process expertise and leadership across the site.
• Develop and deliver process training to build capability.
• Promote safety, quality, environmental compliance and continuous improvement.
