Job summary

Qualifications
- Numeracy and literacy are required.
- Experience or interest in mechanical engineering is desirable.
- Experience in wastewater/processing plants or similar industrial environments is highly desirable.
- Experience with spreadsheets/word processing is advantageous.
- Full UK driving licence and forklift experience/certification are desirable, training provided.
Responsibilities
- Support the Plant team with day-to-day operations, including transferring bulk liquids between tanks and sampling road tankers.
- Start/stop plant machinery, complete daily check sheets, report defects and operate forklift after training.
- Carry out general housekeeping and basic maintenance tasks (greasing, chipping, painting).
- Monitor contractors and visitors to ensure safety on site.
- Support the QHSE Management Systems and improvements.
- Receive full training and suitable PPE and workwear will be supplied.
