Veolia Basildon Transfer Station is seeking a Plant Operative to join our team. The role covers handling plant equipment, waste transfer, and site operations at Basildon. You will work 50 hours per week across 06:00–14:00 or 14:00–22:00 shifts, with occasional weekend work when requested.

Salary is £35,497 per annum with Veolia benefits. Essential: Forklift qualification and a full UK driving licence; desirable: strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifikationen

• Forklift qualification required and valid in the UK.
• Experience with weighbridge systems and site operations.
• UK driving licence held and able to operate as part of a team.

• Keep yard area clean and orderly.
• Marshalling vehicle movement around site during busy times.
• Support site supervisor in day-to-day operations.
