Job summary

Kemp Eko Talent Ltd is seeking a Technical Operator for a busy power generation plant in the United Kingdom. You will support day-to-day operations, plan routine maintenance, and oversee safety documentation.

The role involves coordinating electrical/mechanical isolations, reviewing RAMS, managing permits, and liaising with contractors to ensure safe, efficient operations. Monday–Friday day shift with £40,000 base salary plus overtime and bonus potential.

Responsibilities

• Work with authorised operational personnel to ensure the necessary electrical, mechanical and other hazardous-energy isolations are in place.
• Check that the relevant RAMS and supporting documentation are available and meet site requirements.
• Coordinate activities to avoid conflicting jobs and ensure work does not compromise plant safety or operation.
• Permit administration: Receive, check, record and track permits for maintenance and contractor work.
• Liaise with contractors, maintenance teams and operations to ensure work is planned and authorised.
• Track active, suspended and completed permits, including outstanding actions and expiry times.

Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking a Technical Operator to support the day-to-day running of a busy power generation plant. The Technical Operator will be responsible for planning and scheduling of routine maintenance, plant outages, site permits and have ownership of risk assessments and work procedures.

Day To Day Responsibilities:
