Job summary

Tradebe Environmental Services in the UK is seeking a reliable Plant Operator to join our busy site. This hands-on role ensures the safe movement, treatment and transfer of waste in line with company procedures and legislation, contributing to a safe, compliant operation.

The shift pattern is 4 on 4 off (days and nights). You will support loading/unloading, operate the plant within permits, and collaborate with the site team.

Qualifications

• Understanding of a continuous processing plant environment

Responsibilities

• Ensure waste movements from receipt to treatment and transfer follow procedures and legislation
• Maximise plant throughput by operating the plant at appropriate rates
• Assist drivers with loading/unloading to support efficient turnaround times
• Load and unload trailers/containers as instructed
• Operate the plant in line with site permits and monitor emissions where applicable
• Work collaboratively as part of the site team
