Job summary

MTrec Ltd Technical in Tees Valley seeks a time-served Plant/Mechanical Fitter to service and prepare construction plant equipment, install hydraulic systems, and operate in a static workshop. You will diagnose faults, perform repairs, and provide professional technical support to customers and end users.

You will maintain clear on-site reporting and nurture customer relationships while meeting expectations. A full driving licence and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Prefer time-served plant or mechanical fitter experience.
• Experience with construction plant environment is advantageous.
• Analytical approach to problem solving.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Good IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Service and prepare construction plant equipment.

Job Role

• To service and ready construction plant industry.
• Installing new hydraulic systems.
• Will be static workshop based.
• Breakdowns to diagnose faults, provide solutions and carry out repairs.
• Responsible for delivering competent and professional technical support to customers and end users.
• Providing a professional and consistent level of on-site reporting to ensure issues are correctly recorded.
• Maintaining customer relationships and managing customer expectations.

The Person

• You will ideally be a time served plant or mechanical fitter.
• Previous mechanical experience in a construction plant environment advantageous.
• Analytical approach to problem solving.
• Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
• Good IT skills.
• Full driving licence.
