Experienced Plant Fitter looking for a better opportunity?
If you're good at fixing plant, diagnosing faults and getting machinery back up and running, but you're fed up with being treated like just another number, this could be worth a look.
We're working with an established plant hire business looking for an experienced Plant Fitter / Plant Engineer to take ownership of its workshop and customer repairs.
You’ll be working directly with the company directors, with plenty of variety and genuine scope to influence how the engineering side of the business develops.
There is flexibility on the package for the right person.
The company wants to expand the mechanical services it provides to customers, particularly on-site servicing and repairs.
Once you've settled in, you'll have the opportunity to help develop that side of the business, including helping shape the workshop, mobile operation, staffing and services offered.
So if you've got ideas about how things could be done better, you'll actually have the opportunity to put them forward.
We're interested in experienced engineers from backgrounds such as:
You don't necessarily need to have worked on every type of machine listed above.
If you're currently working as a Plant Fitter and thinking: "I could be earning more." "I want more responsibility." "I'd like to have more say in how things are done." "I don't want to spend the rest of my career doing the same thing every day."
This could be a chance to join a growing business at the point where you can genuinely help shape its engineering operation.
