Air Liquide Biogas Solutions UK is seeking a Plant Manager for the Northwick site in Moreton-in-Marsh. You will lead a 12‑person team to run the anaerobic digestion plant with a focus on safety, efficiency and profitability.

You will drive operational excellence, manage budgeting and capital projects, and ensure regulatory data is submitted on time. NEBOSH qualification and waste-sector experience are essential.

Leveraging core Air Liquide technologies, the Group has developed competencies throughout the whole biomethane value chain, starting with biogas production from waste, to its purification into biomethane, liquefaction, storage, transportation to distribution. As a Plant Manager, you will play a vital role in our mission by guiding our Anaerobic Digestion (AD) plant to peak efficiency, safety, and profitability. If you are passionate about the waste-to-energy sector and want to champion continuous improvement and impactful capital projects, we want you on our team.**Location and Scope:** Based at the Northwick Power site in Chipping Campden, Moreton-in-Marsh, this critical role oversees the entire plant, encompassing engineering, operations, and administration. You will report directly to the General Manager and lead a dedicated 12-person team. Travel expectations include occasional travel within the UK (Midlands) and, rarely, the EU. **You will be required to be On-Call every 1 in 4 weeks**, covering a 7 day period. A Call Out payment and salary is based on the experience. **What You Will Do:** * **Drive Operational Excellence:** Optimize Plant operations through strategic feeding plans and active biological management to maximize profitability. You will manage digestate processing to maintain PAS 110 compliance and lead the Engineering Team in daily and ad-hoc task prioritization.* **Lead Strategy & Financial Growth:** Lead business planning, annual budgeting, and monthly financial reporting in conjunction with the Finance team. You will own capital projects and ensure the timely submission of Regulator data required for green energy valorization.* **Champion Safety & Compliance:** Guarantee strict adherence to all HSE policies, Codes of Conduct, and regulatory requirements across the site. This includes comprehensive risk management (Job Hazard Analysis, RAMS), audits, and inspections.* **Empower the Team:** Coordinate and animate all site stakeholders, taking full responsibility for the training, qualifications, and welfare of your 12-person team. Through a process called Anaerobic Digestion it utilises the waste as a raw material to create methane, which in turn is used to generate electricity and gas both of which are exported to the national grids and are 100% renewable.**
