Job summary

Air Liquide Biogas Solutions UK is seeking a Plant Manager for the Northwick site in Moreton-in-Marsh. You will lead a 12‑person team to run the anaerobic digestion plant with a focus on safety, efficiency and profitability.

You will drive operational excellence, manage budgeting and capital projects, and ensure regulatory data is submitted on time. NEBOSH qualification and waste-sector experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a degree in a related discipline.
• NEBOSH qualification is essential.
• Experience in a production/operational plant or directly in the waste sector.
• Experience in project management, customer relationship building, and stakeholder management.
• Proven team leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive Operational Excellence: optimize plant operations with strategic feeding plans and active biological management to maximize profitability.
• Lead Strategy & Financial Growth: oversee business planning, budgeting, and monthly financial reporting; own capital projects and regulator data submissions.
• Champion Safety & Compliance: ensure adherence to HSE policies, codes of conduct, and regulatory requirements; manage risk, audits, and inspections.
• Empower the Team: train, qualify, and welfare oversee a 12-person team; lead continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead continuous improvement and capital projects with site stakeholders.
