Job summary

Air Liquide Biogas Solutions UK Limited seeks a strong operations leader at the Northwick Power site to oversee engineering, operations and administration. You will report to the General Manager and lead a dedicated 12-person team, with occasional UK travel within Midlands and rare EU trips.

Qualifications

• A Degree in a related discipline.
• A NEBOSH qualification.
• Previous experience working on a production/operational plant or directly within the Waste sector.
• Experience in project management, customer relationship building, and stakeholder management.
• Team leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive Operational Excellence: Optimize Plant operations with feeding plans and biological management; lead digestate processing to PAS 110 compliance; prioritise daily/adhoc tasks.
• Lead Strategy & Financial Growth: Own business planning, budgeting, and monthly financial reporting; manage capital projects; ensure regulator data submission for green valorisation.
• Champion Safety & Compliance: Enforce HSE policies, conduct risk management, audits, and inspections across the site.
• Empower the Team: Coordinate stakeholders; train and maintain welfare for the 12-person team; drive continuous improvement.
