Job summary

Eko Talent is seeking a highly motivated Plant Supervisor to oversee day-to-day operations of a renewable energy biogas facility in the United Kingdom. You will ensure safe, efficient, and compliant running of the plant while delivering optimal biogas production and reliable plant performance.

Lead and develop a team of technicians and operators, coordinate maintenance with contractors and suppliers, monitor feedstock inputs and digester yields, analyse data, and drive continuous improvement and

Qualifications

• NEBOSH / IOSH / AP health & safety qualifications.
• Experience in industrial process environments (Biogas, AD, EFW, etc.).
• WAMITAB certification or equivalent (or willingness to attain).
• Experience with SCADA/PLC systems and maintenance planning software.
• Electrical or mechanical engineering knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise all aspects of plant operations, maintenance, and performance.
• Monitor and optimise feedstock inputs, biogas yield, and digestate quality.
• Ensure compliance with environmental permits, HSE regulations, and company standards.
• Lead and develop a skilled team of technicians and operators.
• Coordinate plant maintenance schedules and liaise with contractors and suppliers.
• Analyse plant data and prepare operational reports.
• Drive process improvement and cost-efficiency initiatives.

Job Title: Plant Supervisor - Power Generation

£65,000 BASIC | Overtime | Bonus

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Plant Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of a renewable energy power generation facility.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant running of the plant, delivering optimal biogas production, managing operations team, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise all aspects of plant operations, maintenance, and performance.
• Monitor and optimise feedstock inputs, biogas yield, and digestate quality.
• Ensure strict compliance with environmental permits, HSE regulations, and company standards.
• Lead and develop a skilled team of technicians and operators.
• Coordinate plant maintenance schedules and liaise with contractors and suppliers.
• Analyse plant data and prepare operational reports.
• Drive process improvement and cost-efficiency initiatives.

What We're Looking For:

• Health and Safety Qualifications - NEBOSH / IOSH / AP
• Proven experience working within a industrial process environment - Biogas, Anaerobic Digestion, Recycling, Energy From Waste (EFW), Petrochemical, Oil & Gas, Chemicals, Power Generation
• WAMITAB certification or equivalent (or willingness to attain).
• Experience with SCADA/PLC systems and maintenance planning software.
• In depth technical engineering knowledge within mechanical or electrical disciplines.
