Job summary

Our client is recognized for their expertise in blending technical knowledge with the capabilities of their clients and partners, addressing some of the most pressing challenges facing our planet.

As the global energy landscape continues to evolve, our client is committed to leading this change, particularly within the Bioenergy sector. They are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Plant Manager to oversee and optimize operations at their bioenergy production facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and manage the daily operations of the bioenergy plant, ensuring all processes run smoothly and efficiently.
  2. Oversee the performance of the plant, including production, maintenance, and safety operations, to meet or exceed operational targets.
  3. Implement and monitor operational KPIs to ensure that the site meets or exceeds its annual budget goals.
  4. Develop and maintain all operational Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Risk Assessments (RAs), ensuring all team members are fully trained and compliant.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

  • Minimum of an HNC in Engineering or a related discipline; a degree or HND is highly desirable.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a production or plant management role, ideally within the bioenergy or a related sector.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to drive operational excellence.
  • Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation and respond to emergencies as needed.
