Job summary

IES Utilities Group Ltd in Manchester (Levenshulme area) is seeking a Plant Administrator to support the plant, tools, and fleet assets across our operations. The role focuses on managing asset records, scheduling servicing, and coordinating with field teams to ensure availability and compliance.

You will raise work orders, maintain documentation, and contribute to cost control and safety across plant activities, reporting to the Plant & Fleet Manager.

Qualifications

• Experience in plant administration or fleet support.
• Knowledge of PUWER and LOLER is preferred.
• Ability to maintain accurate asset records and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of plant, tools, equipment and fleet assets.
• Log and track plant movement between depots, projects and field teams.
• Ensure valid inspections, certifications, and service histories.
• Raise work orders for repairs and servicing.
• Coordinate delivery and collection of hired items.
• Produce reports on utilisation, compliance status and cost control.
• Support field supervisors with timely plant information and documentation.
• Assist with safety audits and continuity of plant operations.
