LME Recruitment is seeking a Plant Fitter for a permanent role near Beccles, Norfolk. You will inspect and maintain plant machinery, diagnose faults, and support servicing and preparation for hire.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years' hands-on experience with excavators, diggers and site machinery, plus a strong mechanical, hydraulic and electrical background. A driving licence is essential; CPCS/NPORS are a bonus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' hands-on experience with excavators and site machinery.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Confident IT skills and use of maintenance management systems.
• Full driving licence; CPCS/NPORS qualifications are a bonus.

Responsabilités

• Inspect and maintain plant machinery and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair faults on-site and in the workshop.
• Carry out scheduled servicing and repairs to industry standards.
• Prepare equipment for hire and inspect on return.
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
• Support logistics with equipment deliveries and pick-ups.
• Collaborate with colleagues to uphold safety and efficiency.
