Role: Plant Fitter

Location: Peterborough, Cambridgeshire

Salary: £17.00 - £24.00 p/h + Overtime (1.5)

Monday – Friday (Permanent Position)

08:00am – 16:30pm

Interaction Engineering are working exclusively with a rapidly growing plant hire company based in Peterborough. Due to a growth within the business, we are seeking a skilled Plant Fitter to join the team. This is a great opportunity to join a highly reputable company that offers career growth.

The Role

Repair a range of plant equipment, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults.

Perform servicing and general repairs.

Diagnose and find faults.

Conduct inspections and maintenance checks.

Comply with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Work independently and as part of a small team.

Follow safety and housekeeping standards in the workshop.

Log and keep records of work carried out and complete daily job sheets.

What we need from you:

Experience working with plant machinery, (diggers, dumpers, excavators etc)

Knowledge of mechanical, electric, and hydraulic diagnostics, servicing and repairs.

Good communication skills.

Full UK driving licence as both Workshop and Mobile based.

Ability to work well as a team and on your own.
