Job description

Overview

First Military Recruitment is currently seeking a full-time Plant Fitter on behalf of one of our clients.

You will be working around 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday, roughly 8am – 5pm.

This role would be ideal for an ex-military candidate; however, all applications will be given due consideration.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Complete all relevant checks and related paperwork.
2. Carry out scheduled service inspections, servicing, and repairs in compliance with manufacturers' specifications.
3. Perform all tasks in accordance with the Company’s Environmental and Health & Safety Procedures.
4. The successful candidate will be suitably qualified and experienced with plant and equipment related to the Company’s operations.

Skills and Qualifications:

1. Proven qualifications and experience as a Plant Fitter or HGV Fitter.
2. A valid driving license.
3. Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
4. Flexibility and willingness to undertake new training opportunities, which may occasionally require staying away.
5. Customer service focus.
6. Relevant Level 3 qualification minimum (desirable).

Location: Northampton

Salary: £20-21 per hour
