Job summary

Huntingdonshire District Council is seeking a data-led Transformation Officer for a two-year fixed-term post within the Local Government Reorganisation programme. The role focuses on reviewing Planning, Infrastructure and Public Protection to streamline processes and improve service delivery, with a high degree of autonomy.

Applicants should be able to use data and evidence to inform decisions, identify trends, and drive improvements while working with stakeholders across the council.

Responsibilities

• Review and transform Planning, Infrastructure and Public Protection services for Local Government Reorganisation.
• Redesign processes and streamline workflows to create efficiencies and free up officer time.
• Use data, insight and evidence to identify trends, understand demand and inform decisions.
• Analyse service performance and develop improvement plans.
• Support transformation projects and test new approaches.
• Work with managers and stakeholders across the council to challenge existing ways of working.
• Take ownership of initiatives from concept through to delivery.
