Job summary

You will own the mission, behavior, and motion planners, drive architecture decisions, and prototype planning methods, collaborating with perception, controls, and localization teams to deliver production-ready autonomous systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS/Engineering or related field.
• Extensive hands-on experience designing and implementing planning modules.
• Strong programming in C++ or Python and Linux proficiency.
• Ability to derive well-architected solutions from ambiguous problems.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and iterate the mission, behavior, and motion planners for autonomous ground support equipment.
• Drive key technical decisions across the planning stack and architecture.
• Prototype planning approaches and bring best ideas to production.
• Collaborate with perception, controls, localization, and systems teams.
• Establish best practices in software development, functional safety, and systems engineering as they apply to planning.
• Mentor engineers through technical guidance, code reviews, and design discussions.
